Here something for big boys… Really impressive what they drive around here and what you can meet on a dirt road. Would be fun to drive one of those, at least for some meters. Parking might be an issue, but who cares?!

Well that is not completely true but the Tanami Road is really nothing I would recommend for somebody being on a normal vacation in Australia. It leads 1.088 kilometres through the middle of nowhere from Halls Creek in the Kimberley region to Alice Springs. For us it was a nice […]
I really like the Australian way of making attractions accessible. Nearly all of us now the “Bungle Bungles” from documentaries about Australia, but they are accessible by 4WD only. In Europe they would build a tar road, just to allow access for everybody. So we were nearly alone, just few […]

Karijini NP, second biggest national park in Western Australia and famous for the beautiful gorges. Great place for hiking, even though the trails are not the easiest and lot of climbing needed, especially in case there is still some water and you are not willing to swim because of your […]
On the coast it looked like it will fill up for the Easter days, but here in Millstream Chichester NP it was still not really busy. So exactly the right place for us to spent the Easter days. But before leaving the coast, we had a nice evening, with a […]
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
